Garry Monk appointed Sheffield Wednesday manager

Garry Monk has been appointed as the new manager of Sheffield Wednesday.
After being sacked by Birmingham City, after having a row with the plank within the club’s policy coverage monk has been out of work since June.
The former Swansea Middlesbrough, Leeds and City manager advised the Blues to 17th in the Sky Bet Championship term.
The 40-year-old managed 59 matches for Birmingham (19 wins, 20 pulls, and 20 beats ) through 15 months in charge.
As a player, Monk appreciated a brief loan spell to Hillsborough and upon his return with all the Owls from the 2002/03 year, the prior guardian believes he could help Wednesday realise their potential in the Championship this year.
“I was a player here many moons ago and even though it was a brief spell, so I got a fantastic grasp of how strong and traditional this club would be,” he explained.
“It’s a fantastic opportunity and one I am really enthusiastic about.
“My overriding feeling is excitement and watching what we could do this. We know we have a squad that is competent and it’s about making us compete as hard as we could and the quality will come through.
“I’m excited about working with Lee (Bullen) and some of the other staff here and their expertise is invaluable. I’ve already had a great chat together and we will get to work.”
Former Owls boss Steve Bruce stopped the Sky Bet Championship club July to join Newcastle, with Bullen accountable at the Beginning of the 2019/20 season.
Following six games wednesday are currently with three wins and three beats.
Meanwhile, the Lincoln manager Danny Cowley denied after being diagnosed as a candidate for the function, that he held discussions with Wednesday.
